1959 The name of Ferrybridge Industries was changed to Pollard Ball and Roller Bearing Co[1]; subsidiaries included Pollard Bearings, Pollard Bearings (Northampton), Whitehouse Industries and Philidas.

1961 Manufacturers of ball and roller bearings.

1962 Development of a fully sealed bearing for submerged applications announced[3]

1962 Acquired R. and J. Dick[4]

1969 The Industrial Reorganisation Corporation supported the formation of a new bearings group Ransome Hoffmann Pollard Co by amalgamating Ransome and Marles Bearing Co, Pollard Ball and Roller Bearing Co and Hoffmann Manufacturing Co[5].
