Queen's Park Bridge (Chester)

A suspension footbridge across the River Dee in Chester.

The present bridge was built by David Rowell and Co in 1923.

The present bridge replaced an earlier example designed by James Dredge, Senior and opened in 1850. The old bridge had a span of 262 ft and was 417 ft long. It had four cast iron pillars about 33 ft high.[1]
