1911 Living at 12 Claremont Road, Leamington: Robert Louis Jefferson (age 43 born South Lambeth), Journalist and Author. With his wife Ida Sarah Jefferson (age 40 born South Lambeth) and their three children; Haidee Annie Jefferson (age 17 born Forest Hill); Olga Roberta Louis Jefferson (age 10 born Southwick, Sussex); and Robert Louis Jefferson (age 7 born Sunderland).[2]
1914 'We regret to record the death on Monday at Melbourne of Mr. Robert Louis Jefferson, formerly of Claremont Road. Leamington. Mr. Jefferson, who was a well-known author, bad been for some years in delicate health — a circumstance which made it necessary for him to spend much of his time in warmer, climates than tho English. He was member of the Whitefriars Club.'[3]
