Radstock Tramway

From Graces Guide

1815 Built along the disused arm of the Somerset Coal Canal to link collieries at Radstock with the canal basin at Mitford some seven miles away

It was on a 3 feet 5½ inch gauge, single-track with passing places and was horse-drawn to begin but steam was introduced in 1827 but proved too heavy for the track.
