Studied at Winchester and Balliol College, Oxford[1]
Secretary of the British Westinghouse Co.
c.1901 He was a friend of Robert Percival Porter who persuaded him to raise funds to develop a business in Britain to introduce Hollerith's tabulator[2]
1903 He invited Mr C. A. Everard Greene to be learn about Hollerith's tabulating machine in order to introduce them to the British market.
1904 One of the founders of the Tabulator Company which later became the British Tabulating Machine Co.
1911 A solicitor, employer, lived in Westminster with Jean Phillpotts 34[3]
1919 Phillpotts continued to be chairman of the British Tabulator company[4]
1950 Died in Newton Abbot[5]
