Rapson Automobile Patents

1919 Company incorporated to acquire the Rapson Inventions - those mentioned were: the Rapson Unpuncturable Tyre, the Rapson Rapid Jack, the Rapson Mechanical Hood-Lifter, the Rapson Combination Carburetter and Self-starter, the Rapson Detachable Wheel, and the Rapson Window Holder and Silencer; the sale was agreed between Frederick Lionel Rapson, Alexander Wilfrid Oyler and Rayner Roberts. Messrs Oylers Ltd had acquired manufacturing rights to the tyres. Robert Semple manufactured the hood lifter.[1]

Alexander Wilfrid Oyler, rubber manufacturer, was managing director.

1920 Offer for sale of ordinary shares.

The company survived through investment by Miss Schintze.[2]
