1977 Acquired J. Rosenthal and Sons[9]
1980 Sold its Blackburn plant which made woven polystyrene for upholstery[10]
1983 Sold its narrow fabrics division, British Trimmings, to Berisfords[11]
1989 Disposed of its Waldmans and Rosenthal businesses[12]
