Robert Brunton (1816- )

1814 July 18th. Born in Birmingham the son of William Brunton and his wife Ann Elizabeth Button, brother of John Brunton. Baptised 1816 July 9th.

c.1840 Took charge of completion of works on the London and Birmingham Railway that had been started by his brother John.

1850 Mention of Brunton and Smith, civil engineers, of 25, Parliament-street, Westminster, and their new pavement made of wood blocks.[1]

1857 of 25 Parliament Street[2]

c.1858 In charge of survey work for the Mooltan-Lahore section of the Punjab Railway[3]

1867 of 25 Parliament Street[4]
