1914 Obituary [1]

ROBERT SANDERS ANDERSON, born on the 10th October, 1855, died at Peebles on the 30th November, 1913.

He obtained his practical training on the North British Railway, and after some municipal work at Penicuik and in Edinburgh, he was appointed County Road Surveyor and Sanitary Inspector for Peeblesshire, a position which he held for 30 years.

Mr. Anderson was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 3rd May, 1881.
