1855 Founded by James Rose and John Bilsland

1869 Partnership dissolved. '...The Subscribers, the sole Partners of the Firm of ROSE & BILSLAND, Rivet, Bolt, and Screw Manufacturers, Victoria Rivet Works, 77i, Main Street, Anderston, Glasgow, hereby intimate that their said Partnership was DISSOLVED as at the 1st day of January last, by mutual consent. The same business will be carried on by each of the Subscribers, on his own account, as under, viz. :— by James Rose at the Govan Bolt and Rivet Works, Helen Street, Govan, and by John Bilsland at the Victoria Rivet Works, the premises of the late Firm.[1]
