'The Business heretofore carried on in Manchester, in the County of Lancaster, by us the undersigned Scholes Birch and Maurice De Jongh, under the Firm of Scholes Birch and Company, is this Day dissolved by mutual Consent; the Business will in future be carried on by the said Scholes Birch....'[1]
