Scholes Birch (1769-1850) of Scholes, Birch and Co

1792 April 2nd. Married Caroline Priestley. 'On Monday last was married, Mr. Scholes Birch, of Manchester, merchant, to Mifs Caroline Priestley, second daughter of Mr. Joseph Priestley, of White-windows, near Halifax, merchant.'[1]

1840 June 22nd. Death of his wife Caroline. Of Manchester and Stonydale, Westmoreland.[2]

1850 January 22nd. Died at Brighouse, of Stonydale age 79.[3]
