School of Ballooning: Nulli Secundus II

Note: This is a sub-section of School of Ballooning.

This was the modified version of the Nulli Secundus (also known as the Army Dirigible No. 1). She was converted to a semi-rigid of 55,000 cubic feet and a 40-50hp Antoinette engine and with the car much closer to the envelope.

She made her first flight on 28th July 1908 but had a series of mishaps as she was found to unmanageable.

She was converted to the Gamma.
