1950 The Scottish Tanker Company Limited was registered, with capital of £250,000, as tanker and other shipowners, shipbrokers, and managers of shipping and transport undertakings of all kinds.[1] The company was an associate firm of Clan Line Steamers and the directors were Lord Rotherwick, Sir Nicholas Cayzer and Captain H. R. Cayzer.[2]

2003 The company went into liquidation, by which time it had long since changed its name to Scottan Investments Limited.[3]
