1864 Spring Grove Laundries were founded in Isleworth by the great-grandmother of Roger Nias (later chief executive)

1934 Charterhouse acquired an interest in the company

1945 Was a subsidiary of Charterhouse

1960 Spring Grove Laundries (Holdings) Ltd was incorporated to acquire Spring Grove Laundries Ltd

1966 Spring Grove Laundries Ltd changed its name to Spring Grove Services Ltd

1967 Charterhouse Group acquired the remaining 18 percent of the company[1]

1972 Spring Grove Services, a subsidiary of Charterhouse Industries. The MD is Roger Nias.[2]

1974 Spring Grove Services Ltd changed its name to Spring Grove Industrial Services Ltd

1983 Spring Grove PLC was a subsidiary of Pritchard Services Group PLC

1986 Re-registered as a private company. Name changed to Stapp Ltd. which acquired Spring Grove Laundries Ltd.

1987 Pritchard Services Group plc was renamed Spring Grove Services PLC

1988 Renamed Spring Grove Services Ltd on re-registration as a private company.

1989 Acquired by P. and O. Group.[5][6]

Acquired by Granada

1996 Granada sold Spring Grove to Davis Service Group[7]
