1991 Godfrey Davis (Holdings) changed its name to Davis Service Group; the business included automotive retail and industrial services[1]

1993 Acquired HSS Hire Service Group[2]

1996 Acquired Spring Grove Services

2002 Acquired the Nordic support services operator Sophus Berendsen

2003 Sold HSS to its management[3]. Concentrated on providing services to industry covering towels and hand cleaner for washrooms, doormats and linen for hotels and hospitals.

2010 Name of the group was changed to Berendsen[4]
