Messrs, Fuller and Horsey are instructed to SELL by AUCTION, on the Premises, Southampton, on Thursday, November 30th, and following day, at 11, by order of the proprietor, who is retiring from the Manufacturing Branch of his Business,— The whole of the WORKING PLANT and MANUFACTURED STOCK of the well-known St. Mary’s Foundry : Consisting of six-horse oscillating steam engine, 2 portable ditto of four and six-horse-power, 10 inch centre back geared lathe. 16 ft. bed, by Smith, Beacock, and Tannett; engine turning lathes, drilling and punching machines, Whitworth's stocks and dies, large facing and turning lathe by Fox, blocks and falls, shafting and drums, boring bars and cast steel tools, lifting jacks, new vices, slide rests, anvils, and other tools, smiths’ tools, twenty tons moulding flasks, foundry and other cranes. Hematite pig iron, Schiele's fan and steam turbine, twenty tons Kentledge ballast, hydraulic punching presses, ten Weston’s pullies, steel, signal lamps, weighing machines, four ploughs, garden rollers, anchors, chain, pumps, crabs, a quantity of builders' castings, sash weighs, stoves, gratings, self-acting saw bench, donkey engine and pumps, timber, and numerous other effects.
