1906 Private company Straker and MacConnell was taken over as a going concern by Straker and MacConnell (1906) Ltd[1] Was agent for various Italian and Swiss-makes of motorcar including Bianchi, Rapid, Berna and had contract with Lacoste and Battmann Ltd of Paris.

1906 Sidney Straker took out adverts to explain he was not connected with this company[2]

1907 The company was put into liquidation[3]
