Sydney Sam Bird (1885- ) founder of Sydney S. Bird and Sons

Born at Chelsea the son of Sam Bird, a Farrier.

1911 Residing at 10 Stainforth Road, Walthamstow. Sydney Sam Bird (age 26 born Chelsea), Electrical Engineer. with his mother Selina.[1]

Had sons Cyril and Donald. Cyril died at a fairly young age, and the company was run by Donald, and Cyril's son, also called Cyril. An elder brother, Sydney, is thought to have gone out to Australia in the early 1950s.

1939 Residing at Culguish, Broad Walk, Southgate, Managing Director - Manufacturing Electrical Engineer. With Ida Bird (b.1886).[2]
