T. and W. Early and Co
1874 The north-east part of New Mill was inherited by three of Edward Early's children, including Thomas Coxeter Early and Walter Bush Early. They took over their grandfather's share in the New Mill, and ran the company as T. and W. Early and Co
Walter set up a spinning business there with his brother Thomas and they were also involved in mop-making in Bridge Street, Witney.
1883 New Mill burnt down.
1891 Thomas and Walter Early, woollen manufacturers, West End[1] .
1892 Charles Early recorded that he advanced Thomas and Walter £800 for a new building but only two years later bought their part of the mill for £3000 when Walter committed suicide.
1894 The partnership of T. and W. Early, of Witney, Blanket Manufacturers, was in the hands of the Receiver[2]
1894 Charles Early acquired that part of New Mill that he was not already using from Walter and Thomas Early and Co.
