1988 Owned by Charterhall. The MD is George Ladkin.[2]

1991 Lennards Ltd (Subsidiary of Tandem Shoes), 117 Doncaster Road, Leicester.[3]

1992 In receivership. Some 41 shops bought by Shoefayre.[4] Tandem Shoes, which had 280 shops throughout Britain went into receivership.[5]

1992 Auction of equipment of Steeds and Tandem Shoes.[6]
