Brand name of the Texas Company of the USA

1901 Texas Fuel Company was founded in Beaumont, Texas. The company used the Texaco brand name for its products.

1916 Texas Oil Co was formed in Britain as a subsidiary of the Texas Company of the USA

1931 The Texas Company purchased the Indian Oil Co; this gave it the rights to the Havoline motor oil.

1959 The Texas Company changed its corporate name to Texaco Inc.

1964 Opened refinery at Pembroke[1].

1967 Regent Oil Co Ltd changed its name to Texaco Ltd[2].
