1870 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Thomas Bilbe, William Perry, James Anderson, George Thomson, and James George Skelton Anderson, carrying on business as Ship Builders, at Nelson Dock, Rotherhithe, in the county of Surrey, under the style or firm of Thomas Bilbe and Company, expired by effluxion of time on the 31st day of December, 1869. and was thereupon dissolved so far as regards the said George Thomson...'[1]

1869 (1872 announced) Thomas Bilbe retires. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Thomas Bilbe, William Perry, James Anderson, and James George Skelton Anderson, carrying on business as Shipbuilders and Shipwrights, at Nelson Dock, Rotherhithe, in the county of Surrey, under the style or firm of Thomas Bilbe and Company, has been dissolved, so far as relates to the said Thomas Bilbe, by his retirement from the said firm, as from the 31st day of December, 1869; and that the business of the said firm will be continued by the undersigned William Perry, James Anderson, and James George Skelton Anderson...'[2]
