Born the son of Isaac Cordingley

1947 Died. 'The death occurred on Thursday of last week, at his home, 4 Woodrow Road, Melksham Forest, of Mr. Thomas William Cordingley, aged 81. He leaves a widow and married son and daughter, Mr. Victor Cordingley and Mrs. V. H. Hillier, both living at Melksham. A native of Trowbridge, where his father, Mr. Isaac Cordinglcy, owned an iron foundry in the Innox, he came to Melksham about 35 years ago, carrying on business as an agricultural engineer until he retired some 11 years ago.'[1]
