Trent Aqueduct
at Great Haywood, Stafford
This is a four arch masonry aqueduct, built by James Brindley c.1772 to take the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal over the River Trent.[1]
It was built on dry land, and the river was then diverted to flow under it.
