c.1961 Stein Atkinson Vickers Hydraulics became Vickers Sperry Rand[1]. The company was a division of Vickers Incorporated of USA

1962 Formation of aero-hydraulics department in conjunction with Sperry Gyroscope, both subsidiaries of Sperry Rand Corporation[2]

By 1968 was being described as the Vickers division of Sperry Rand

1984 Sperry Rand Corporation divested this subsidiary.
