1887 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Abraham Grandage and William Grandage, carrying on business as Dyers, at Lowroyd and Brownroyd Dye Works, Thornton-road, Bradford, in the county of York, in copartnership together under the style or firm of W. Grandage and Co., has been dissolved, as from the 1st day of August, 1887, by mutual consent, on the retirement of the said William Grandage from the said business. All debts owing to or by the paid firm will be received and paid by the said Abraham Grandage, who will continue to carry on the said business at Lowroyd and Brownroyd Dye Works aforesaid, in copartnership with Henry Grandage, George Grandage, Frederick William Grandage, and Ellis Briggs Grandage, under the same style or firm of W. Grandage and Co...'[1]
