Wailes Dove Bitumastic of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Established by E. F. Wailes and E. J. Dove

1899 Incorporated as a limited company, presumably Wailes Dove and Co.

1906 Wailes Dove and Co was put into liquidation; Frank Herbert Hunter was liquidator[1]

1916 Company Wailes Dove Bitumastic was reconstructed; Frank Herbert Hunter was secretary of the company[2]

1923 They opened a branch office at No. 2, Bank-street, Sheffield, which was in charge of Arthur Swindale.[3]

1925 E. J. Dove resigned his position of managing director and Charles Macdonald resigned his position as assistant managing director. The services of both as directors of the company are still being retained. W. H. Dick, who has been for some years assistant managing director, was appointed managing director of the company.[4]
