Brighton Grammar School, Brighton Technical College. Three years apprenticeship with general engineer's shop. Four years with British Westinghouse, Manchester, Erecting Shops Dynamo Test and Meter Test. Three years Central Argentine Railway, Test Department, Armature Repair Shop, and General Electrical and Mechanical Repairs of all Locomotive Motors in shops. At present Superintendent of Repair Shops and Electrical Equipment of Power House: I Mixed Pressure Westinghouse Turbine F 5o K.W. 500 V.; 3 Bellis and Morcom Triple Expansion Soo K.W. 500 V.; 1 Bellis and Morcom 25o K.W. War Services.—Joined the London Electrical Engineers, Royal Engineers Transport, November 26,1914, as. Sapper; promoted to Corporal in 1916; Commissioned in September, 1916; promoted March, 1918. In charge of Coast Defence Searchlights; Erector and Working Anti-aircraft Lights; four Anti-aircraft Lights (Dartford); Sea forts, Portsmouth; Royal Engineer Services.
