1881 William H. Foster 34, MP, JP, lived in London with Henrietta G. Foster 31, Grace E. Foster 5, Mabel Foster 3, Unchristened infant[1]

1899 After his father's death William Henry Foster took on John Bradley and Co.

1901 William H Foster 54, magistrate, proprietor of collieries, worker, lived in Shifnal with Henrietta G Foster 51, Dorothy F Foster 12[2]

1911 William Henry Foster 64, landowner, colliery proprietor, employer, lived in Shifnal with Henrietta Grace Foster 61[3]

1913 Preferring other pursuits, William sold the company's collieries.
