1935 Died. 'By the death of William Kendall at the age of 64, Freemasonry in Hull has lost one of its principal supports. Mr Kendall, who is survived by his wife, Mrs E. M. Kendall, died at his home, 55, Park-avenue, Hull, yesterday. A keen Freemason, Kendall was Worshipful Master of the Humber Lodge of Freemasons to the time of his death. He was for many years employed by the old Hull and Barnsley Railway, but, in left England take a post in Burma. Upon his retirement in 1927 he had become deputy manager the railway there.'[1]
