William Oliver Evelyn Meade-King (1858-1940)

Agneta Sophia, third d. of the late T. E. Harrison. Ed. Eton and served Articles to the late J. F. La Trobe Bateman, past president Institution of Civil Engineers. On large waterworks, chiefly in connection with Manchester Corporation under Bateman and Hill; on N.E. Railway under the late T. E. Harrison and afterwards the late Charles Harrison; Resident Engineer of the Irlam Section of the Manchester Ship Canal during construction and for 22 years an Engineering Inspector under the Local Government Board, now retired.
