Three years as engine fitter and erector with Glenfield and Kennedy, Ltd., Kilmarnock. From 1905-12, Hydraulic Mains and Machinery Inspector with the London Hydraulic Power Co., Southwark, S.E. Since 1912, Resident Water Engineer and Manager, Cheltenham Corporation Waterworks, Tewkesbury. Chief Works: Supervising construction of slows and filters, mechanical filters and settling reservoirs, and the operation and maintenance of waterworks machinery and appliances. Publications: Read paper before the Institute of Water Engineers and contributed articles on "Pumping and Hydraulic Machinery," " Water Softening and Purification," etc., to the technical press.
