1926 The main factory was devoted to the making of corsets of all types, women's and children's fleecy bodices, and artificial silk underwear.

1930 The company went into liquidation.[1] It was reconstructed as William Pretty and Sons (1930) Limited.

At some point the firm was taken over by R. and W. H. Symington and Co of Market Harborough.[2]

1988 The company was dissolved.[3]
