WILLIAMS & MOWLE
Beg respectfully to state that they have commenced business as IRON AND BRASS FOUNDERS, ENGINEERS, BOILER MAKERS, SMITHS, &c. at the above commodious Premises, lately occupied by the Shrewsbury and Chester Railway Company, and they trust that by strict attention, combined with low prices and first-rate workmanship, to merit a share of public support. The Works being conducted under the practical superintendence of Mr. Robert Williams, (late of the Roodee Foundry) they hope will be a guarantee that all Orders entrusted to them will be well and promptly executed.

1853 'A large iron boat for the Queen's Ferry has just been built at the establishment of Messrs. Williams and Mowle, iron-founders, in this city. It reached the water side on Monday last, where it will be completed and afterwards floated to its destination.'[2]
