Wireless Set T1154

From Graces Guide

1939 Developed for the RAF by Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Co and E. K. Cole Ltd together, as part of an aircraft system to handle both communications and direction finding. In a heavy bomber the complete system consisted of two R1155s (one for the radio operator and one for the navigator), a T1154 transmitter, an intercom system for the crew and three aerial systems

The equipment was also installed in RAF Air-Sea Rescue launches, used in ground stations, in ground radio vehicles and used by the Army.

A number of variants of the T1154 transmitter were produced.

The in-service life was from 1941 to 1950.
