1850 August 27th. Married in Everton to Elizabeth Louisa Jones. Francis Morton of Walton-on-the-Hill.[3]
1861 Living at Mill Hill Hermitage, Oxton, Cheshire: Francis Morton (age 45 born Sheffield), Iron Manufacturer. With his wife Elizabeth L. Morton (age 33 born Crosby, Lancs) and their six children; Francis Morton (age 22 born Sheffield), Engineer; Marion Morton (age 20 born East Retford); Richard R. Morton (age 17 born East Retford); George L. Morton (age 6 born Oxton, Ches.); Frances S. Morton (age 4 born Oxton, Ches.); and Alice M. Morton (age 1 born Oxton, Ches.). Five servants.[4]
