This steel bowstring road bridge carries the A548 road the River Clwyd in Rhyl.

Designed by R. G. Whitley, Flintshire’s county surveyor.

Constructed by Dorman, Long and Co.

The new pedestrian Pont y Ddraig lifting bridge crosses the river a short distance downstream.
