1891 Making oil engines to the Capitaine design
1891 Acquired premises at Fulham with a boatyard and slip
1897 Drawings and description of a form of reversing screw propeller, fitted by Tolch and Co., of the Boat yard, Fulham, to a number of small craft driven by petroleum engines. 'Several of these petroleum launches have been built for the submarine mining department of the War Office, whilst many yacht-owners have had their dinghies similarly fitted.[1]
