1982 P. C. Henderson acquired Normand Electrical Holdings, maker of electric motors and gearboxes, a supplier of Hendersons[2],
1987 FKI Electricals acquired Normand Electrical from Henderson Group which would concentrate on manufacturing garage doors, aluminium ladders and security systems[3]
