Hansen Shipbuilding and Repairing Company was a shipbuilding company based in Northam, Bideford, Devon

1919 Established by Sven Wohlford Hansen, a Norwegian shipbuilder with a previous successful history of shipbuilding in Cardiff.

Prior to 1919, the yard had mainly built coasters and Hansen continued this tradition.

1921 Acquired Graham's Navigation (Merthyr) Collieries Limited,

1924 After building three coasters for his own fleet, the freight slump of the 1920s bankrupted Hansen and the yard closed down in 1924.
