1916 London and Hanseatic Bank changed its name to the London Merchant Bank.
1939 London Merchant Bank became London Merchant Securities.[1]
1966 Acquired the Haddon Group.[2]
1977 Owned controlling stakes in Carlton Industries and Invergordon Distillers[3] as well as interests in property, financial services and North Sea Oil[4]
1984 Sold the minority of Carlton Industries that it owned to Hawker Siddeley[5]
2007 London Merchant Securities merged with Derwent Valley Holdings to form Derwent London.
