Mr. Richard Wood, mining engineer, Wigan and Southport, has died in Liverpool nursing home, the age of fifty-two. He was director of Messrs. John Wood and Sons, engineers ironfounders, and manufacturers colliery plant, of the Barley Brook Foundry.
