Previously the Maggs family had operated a business on the site.
1861 Exhibited at the Royal Agricultural Society of England meeting in Leeds - exhibited portable steam engine, combined threshing machine and other machines[1]
c.1870 Succeeded by E. S. Hindley and Sons
