David Albert Victor Rist (1887-1960) of A. Rist and later Rist's Wires and Cables

1887 Born in Stratford, London the son of David Rist, a Groom, and his wife Jane

1895-1901 Educated at Halford Road School, Hammersmith and Fulham. On joining they were living at 49 Farm Lane.

1911 Boarder at 238 Ferme Park Road, Hornsey, London: David Albert Victor Rist (age 23 born London), Brass and Iron Founder - Employer.^[1]

Moved to Lowestoft.

WWI As wires and cables were so essential the company moved to Nuneaton.

Post WWI The company moved to Newcastle-under-Lyme (Rolls Royce premises).

1930 Married at Brentford to Christiane Peres

Albert Rist was involved in many small businesses, and there are around two dozen patents in his name.
