Nathaniel and Faulkner Philips, of Manchester, merchants and fustian and smallware manufacturers.
Memoranda book, 1784-1812, of Joseph Seddon of Manchester, smallware manufacturer, created 1803-1805, in the course of settling the affairs of John Travis, a partner in Nathaniel and Faulkner Philips and an agent for John and Jeremiah Naylor of Wakefield, Yorkshire, merchants. John Travis died intestate in America, holding land there as security for the payment of debts owed to both firms.[1]
