Clement Robert Wedgwood Allen ( -1914), early avaiator
1914 11th March. Died at Salisbury Plain when flying a B.E.4 Lt. J. E. G. Burroughs at the Royal Aircraft Factory. The rudder fell off the plane while doing a gentle turn at 350 feet and the machine went in to a spin.
