1980's John Kerr and Co merged with a company from Copenhagen called Ginge, so they became Ginge-Kerr.
1988 John Kerr and Co (Fire Extinguishing Chemicals Division) was bought by Croda.
Croda-Kerr launched 'Monnex', a fire extinguishing dry powder.
It is currently part of Kidde Products.
