Born 1877 at Birmingham

Worked as a Press Tool Maker

1910 Moved to Coventry

Became Works Manager at Rover Cycle Co

1912 Went to Russia for three years to train the people in motorcycle production skills

Captained the Rover's works team at Brooklands and at the Isle of Man T.T.

1922 Formed Hailstones and Ravenhall

Later went back to tool-making for the Coventry Eagle Co
