Formed by Herbert Percy Saunderson
c. 1904 The Vertical Elstow engine available in 4, 6 and 12 hp sizes (single, twin and three cylinders)
1907 Employed 25 men making 25, 35 and 50-hp small tractors
1908 Introduced the Little Universal engine
1909 Built the May-Fly aeroplane
1910 Became Saunderson and Gifkins
